Returns & Refunds

Returns & refunds.

This policy explains how returns, refunds and replacements work at Ritual Alchemy — whether you have changed your mind, or received an order that is not right.

At a glance

Before we launch

Ritual Alchemy opens for orders on 30 November 2026, so there is nothing to return just yet. We are publishing this policy in advance so you know exactly where you stand before you place your first order.

If you change your mind

You have seven days from the day your order is delivered to notify us. Products must be unopened, with every seal intact — Ritual Alchemy sachets are consumable, and a product with a broken seal cannot be restocked or resold.

Return shipping for a change-of-mind return is arranged and paid for by you, and the parcel remains your responsibility until it reaches us, so we recommend a tracked courier service. Once the return arrives and passes inspection, the product price is credited to you as store credit. Original delivery fees are not refunded.

Please note that this is not a trial policy: once a sachet is opened, the remaining products in that order cannot be returned for a change of mind. If you are unsure which blend suits you, email us before ordering and we will gladly help you choose.

Damaged, faulty or not what you ordered

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, we will put it right at no cost to you. Email us a photo and your order number, and once we have reviewed it you may choose:

Where a faulty product needs to be returned to us, we cover that cost. Genuine product faults are covered for six months from delivery under the Consumer Protection Act.

Your rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under South African consumer law. Where the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act provides greater protection, those provisions apply.
