A Ritual,
for every mood.

The values we hold, the reason Ritual Alchemy exists, and the questions we hear most.

We sweat the details so your body doesn't have to.

A ritual is only worth keeping when every detail feels considered. These are the six standards we hold ourselves to.

Good Ingredients
Botanicals laid out for a Ritual Alchemy blend

Good Ingredients

Every botanical earns its place in the blend. Plants with long histories, chosen with intention. No filler, nothing for show.

Proper Dose
A generous measure of botanicals for one sachet

Proper Dose

No fairy-dusting. When a plant is in the blend, it is truly in the blend: a generous pour of what we name on the label, never a whisper of it.

Nothing Artificial

Nothing Artificial

Vegan, plant-based, and free of artificial colours, synthetic fillers and loaded sugar. Every colour comes from natural botanical and fruit sources, never a synthetic dye.

Tastes Great

Tastes Great

The effect always comes first, but it should never taste like a compromise. Each state is built around real, fruit-forward flavour you look forward to, sip after sip.

Experiential

Experiential

The moment the concentrate meets water and unfurls into colour is the whole point. A small theatre you get to keep.

Why I made Ritual.

It started with a choice I never liked making. On one side, the things I loved: long dinners, drinks with friends, the small rituals that made a day feel like mine. On the other, the healthier version of myself I was working toward.

For a while it felt like I had to pick one. As I leaned into feeling my best, I let go of some of those rituals without quite meaning to, the coffee on the walk to work, the drink that made a night out feel like a night out. What I missed wasn't any one thing. It was the moment, and the way it made me feel: part of things, at ease, like me.

When I couldn't find anything that brought that feeling back without the compromise, I started making it myself: real plants, generously measured, built around a mood rather than a quick hit. That's how Ritual found its three states. Social for the nights you want to be fully in. Serene for when it all needs to slow down. Sharp for the hours that ask everything of you. Not a fix, not a compromise, just a small, honest ritual.

This is the drink I went looking for and couldn't find. How you feel it is your own, and I hope it finds you where you are.

Frequently asked.

Ritual Alchemy is an independent drinks brand from Cape Town. We make botanical drink sachets: small concentrates of plants and natural fruit flavours that bloom into colour the moment they meet water. Each of the three states, Social, Serene and Sharp, is blended around a mood you choose.
Ritual Alchemy is made for the sober-curious, the health-conscious and the mindful drinker. Anyone who wants to feel a little different without overhauling their life. Whether you've cut back on caffeine and alcohol or simply want a more considered alternative in the mix, there's a state for how you want to feel: on a night out, a slow evening in, or a long day of focus. No rules, no lifestyle to sign up for. Just a ritual you choose to fit the moment.
Yes. Ritual Alchemy is built on plants: botanicals, fruit and flower extracts, nothing you would need a glossary for. It is vegan, with no artificial colours, no synthetic fillers and no unnecessary sugar. The colour comes from natural sources like botanical and fruit extracts, never a synthetic dye.
Every day is your own, but here's what we promise: a generous botanical blend, a colour that blooms in the glass, and a drink that tastes like the mood you chose. Kept consistently, small rituals have a way of changing the shape of a day.
It depends on the state. Sharp and Social both use guarana, a plant that naturally carries caffeine, though Social sits on the gentler side and is made for social evenings just as much as mornings. Serene is completely caffeine-free, made for winding all the way down. Every cylinder lists exactly what's inside, so you always know what's in your glass.
Two words you'll see a lot in this world, so here's the plain version. Adaptogens are plants traditionally used to help the body cope with stress and find its balance, like ashwagandha and rhodiola. Nootropics are ingredients linked to focus and mental clarity, like L-theanine. We use both, chosen for how they make you feel rather than for the jargon.
You can, though we didn't make Ritual Alchemy to be a daily prescription. We made it to fit into your life, however that looks, so how you use it is up to you. When you do reach for it, follow the guidance on each cylinder: one sachet per occasion, and no more than the daily maximum shown on the pack.
It varies from person to person and from state to state. Many people notice a gentle shift within the first half hour or so. Botanicals tend to work best with consistency, so Ritual Alchemy is made to be felt in the moment and to settle in the more you keep it.
Our blends are made entirely from natural plant botanicals in considered amounts, and every cylinder lists exactly what's inside, so nothing is hidden. Ritual Alchemy sachets are unregistered health supplements: they haven't been evaluated by SAHPRA for quality, safety or intended use, and are meant to complement your health or supplement your diet. If any single ingredient is a concern for you, the full list is right there to check.
We made Ritual Alchemy with adults in mind. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication, or managing a health condition, please speak to your healthcare professional before use. Everything in the blend is natural and fully disclosed, so you always know exactly what you're choosing.
We launch on 30 November 2026 in South Africa. Join the waitlist for early access and first pick of your state.
